This past weekend the Appalachian Pottery Market was held at the McDowell High School Gymnasium. This is a MUST DO event in McDowell County every year :) Vendors from all over NC and surrounding areas gather together to sell their pottery from 10AM-4PM one Saturday a year. This is my second year going to event and I just love it. It's a great place to get Christmas gifts and who am I kidding.. stuff for myself too :) Both years I have gone there was quite the turn out and this year was no exception. There is always a line out the door so be sure to get there early! I believe that they do this the first Saturday of every December so be sure to put it on your calendar for 2018!
